Google Doodle
The Google Doodle contest asked students to design a Google Doodle with the theme "What the future looks like" to us. Me being someone that care heavily about the environment, I chose to do a bee themed doodle. Bees are very important to our future as they are pollinators and help provide mankind with a majority of our vegetation. I made the doodle in Adobe Illustrator using mostling the pencil tools to draw the images. All of the work in the doodle was original and done by me and none of it came from the internet.
Thayer Street Map
This map is of Thayer Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The buildings that have details and color are the highlights of the shopping area. To make the map I mainly used the pencil tool. To make the buildings I used two hexagons layered over eachother, the group tool, and the pathfinder tool.
Knights of Pythias Poster
For the Knights of Pythias poster contest the theme was " Stay alive don't text and drive". My concept was to show someone behind the wheel of there car texting and driving. I tried to give the phone the most detail to show how people are often more focused on their phones while driving rather than their car. All of the artwork is orginal content made by me using the pencil tool.
Dunkin Donuts 4 Safety Poster
This poster is for the Dunkin Donuts 4 Safety contest. I chose to focus on distracted driving. The object in the middle of the poster is supposed to be a crystal ball showing a gravestone of someone that died because of distracted driving. To create the ball I used the pencil tool, the circle tool, and different gradients. I also played with the opacity to give the clouds on the inside of the ball a foggy effect.
